AIHS Postgraduate Fellowship Award: Dr. Mina Gheiratmand, University of Alberta

An Alberta Innovates Health Solutions (AIHS) Postgraduate Fellowship has been awarded to Dr. Mina Gheiratmand, a Computational Psychiatry group member who will focus on the use of machine learning techniques and neuroimaging to guide diagnosis and treatment in schizophrenia. Dr. Gheiratmand will be supervised by Dr. Serdar Dursun and Dr. Russ Greiner, working with colleagues in the Departments of Psychiatry and of Computing Science, University of Alberta; the Alberta Innovates Centre for Machine Learning; and IBM researchers in New York in collaboration with the IBM Alberta Centre for Advanced Studies.
