WordPress is an easy-to-use content management system that can be used to create websites or blogs with little to no technical knowledge.

What is Spaces?

Spaces is a Faculty of Science run, multisite version of WordPress provided for Science affiliated groups and centres.

This includes:

• Research groups
• Research centres
• Student groups
• Teaching and learning support groups (ie. SciLIFT)

This does not include:

• Hosting active research job submissions (ie. Python, Perl, CGI scripts)
• Conference or event websites
• Sites requiring payment processing
• Course websites
