Lingzi obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from Xiamen University where she worked with Prof. Yong Zhang and Prof. Yaxian Zhu on the measurements of PAHs pollutants in water and soil. Lingzi carried out her Ph.D. studies with Prof. Jeanne Pemberton at the University of Arizona where she worked on spectroscopic measurements of critical interfaces in organic photovoltaics. Prior to joining the Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta, Lingzi conducts her postdoc research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with Prof. Andrew Gewith and Prof. Ralph Nuzzo. Her postdoc research focused on measurements at the interfaces of all-solid Li-ion batteries.
