Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY<\/li>\n<li>Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The team will expand on the real-time Environmental Monitoring Project Phase 1, to develop a platform that will facilitate quick integration of land use\/cover change information and other applications including measuring carbon.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Article published by the IAI (Paris, March 14, 2018)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c\u2026\u201cThis cutting-edge research data from the super sites will bring an important contribution to the sixth assessment report (AR6) products, in particular to Working Group II of the IPCC, which focuses on climate change impacts, adaptation and vulnerability\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px\">Thelma Krug, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Vice-Chair<\/p>\n<p>This monitoring site is also a successful example of collaboration with scientists from many countries and its private sector partner, the IBM Centre for Advance Studies located into Edmonton, Alberta.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis site produces an incredible volume of data, 10 billion points of information per day ranging from data collected every 10Hz to every 15 min and this information is been used to understand the response of TDFs to climate change in real time.
